One North aims to offer a community gathering place with the best quality coffee bar, teas, and baked goods in the area.

We hope our customers will make us your “Third Place.” Aside from your home and your workplace, One North aims to be your place to relax, socialize, or unwind. A great ambience, a convenient location, a warm atmosphere, a variety of events, and friendly service will bring customers back again and again.

We are happy to be back now in the renovated One North Coffee Shop after an extended time at the Irwin house. Our new setup means we can offer more food, quicker service, more seating while still keeping our relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. We know you will be happy to join us for good food, excellent coffee, and spacious dining at our new “old “space. We have renovated our website, upgraded our online ordering, added new kitchen capacity and staffing all to serve you better. Come down today and see us.

Our Story

One North Coffee & Bake Shop began in the imaginations of four women who desired to see a space in Mercersburg with good coffee, delicious freshly made baked goods, a comfortable gathering space for the community, and a delightful gift shop of locally sourced items. Just like that, One North Coffee and Bakeshop opened in November of 2017.

Since that time, we have expanded our menu to include lunch and breakfast sandwiches, we have expanded our local partnerships to a variety of reputable and quality food vendors, and did we mention, we moved across the street! With an extensive renovation under way at our original location (One North Main St.), we have made ourselves at home in the Irwin House at Three South, until we are able to return to our roots. The relocation timeline remains uncertain, but in the meantime, our friendly customer service and focus on quality just keep getting better.
